Julia Sosa

I’m originally from Austin, Texas, and currently a student-athlete at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor studying marketing. I’m incredibly honored to have received the Hannon-Fields Scholarship and grateful for the support as I continue both my academic and athletic journey.

This past season has been especially memorable! I finished 2nd at the Montgomery Invitational with a career-low round of 69, and helped lead my team to a conference championship where I placed 3rd individually. We’ve also qualified for nationals, which has been an exciting and rewarding experience.

Golf has always been a huge part of my life, and I’m thankful for the community and relationships it has given me. Looking ahead, I plan to pursue my PGA certification with the goal of becoming a college golf coach and continuing to stay involved in the game I love.
