Drew McSpadden

Drew McSpadden is a dedicated Christian student-athlete and competitive golfer from Austin, TX. A Division II golf commit to University of Texas at Dallas, where he plans to major in Business, Drew has earned recognition through his relentless work ethic and consistent performances in AJGA, STPGA Junior Tour, and Legends Junior Tour events. Carrying a 3.97 GPA, he has demonstrated the same commitment to excellence in the classroom as he has on the golf course.

Coached by Bryan Gathright, Drew is known for his determination, leadership, and passion for continuous improvement both on and off the course. In 2025, he advanced to the U.S. Open Final Qualifying stage, widely known as “The Longest Day in Golf,” after firing a bogey-free 6-under 66 in local qualifying. He continues to pursue excellence in academics, athletics, and faith. Go Comets!
